We were delighted to ordain and install our new deacons, Bonnie Dixon and Marie Malpass, on Sunday, August 4.
One of our new traditions is that those present in worship are invited to both bless our newly-ordained deacons AND sign our ordination certificates. In this way, we acknowledge that the entire congregation and the extended community of faith are part of the process. It’s also a great way for our newly-ordained deacons to remember who was present on their special day.
