Special service to celebrate our animal companions
Bring an animal for an individual blessing, or bring a photo, ashes, leash, or collar for a blessing for an animal that has passed. You will also have an opportunity to learn about Saving Grace Animals for Adoption, a Wake County organization connecting homeless animals with loving homes for 20 years.
We are also excited to announce that the Wake County Sheriff’s Office K9 Team will be in attendance.

Can’t make it in person?

Wall of Blessings
We take seriously our sacred responsibility to care for creation. We also acknowledge the vital role of animals, and particularly companion animals, in creating whole and healthy communities. If you’d like for us to be in prayer for a special animal, consider providing a picture for our wall of blessings. Throughout the year, we’ll use the collage to make us aware of the love and care our extended community offers to the world. Photos may be submitted in person on the day of the animal blessing or submitted via email to office@millbrookbaptistchurch.org.
Note: Photos will NOT be published online. They will only be displayed on an interior wall adjacent to the sanctuary.
Leashes
To ensure the safety of everyone present, all animals must be on a leash or in pet carriers.
