150 YEARS OF MILLBROOK
Join us for a year-long celebration of all things Millbrook!
Documents from the NC State Department of Archives report that members from the New Hope, Mount Vernon, and Wake Cross Roads Baptist Churches met in conference the Saturday before the second Sunday in October, 1875 (October 9) and moved the following:
The Baptist House of Worship (Midway) on Fall Road near Bro. E. Chapell’s be considered a branch of New Hope Church and that a committee of ten be appointed to meet for organization.
Thus, what is now Millbrook Baptist Church was born. And 150 years later, we’re gonna celebrate!
We invite you to join us for our 150th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, November 9, 2025. This event will kick off a year-long commemoration of Millbrook’s enduring legacy of ministry in Raleigh. We will use this page to provide ongoing updates to all events associated with the 150th celebration. It’s our sincere hope that Millbrookers past and present will join us in sharing memories, exploring our history, and dreaming about the next century and a half of ministry.
