Suzanne Holleman
Preschool Director
Suzanne joined the MBP staff in June 2010. She is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of East Carolina University with a Child Development and Family Relations Degree and a minor in Business. Suzanne had 18 years prior experience in Early Childhood Education, having served in both teaching and administrative positions. She loves to water ski and snow ski and traveling with her family.
Toddlers
Deborah Tharrington
Teacher of Toddlers
Deborah started the Toddler class when she joined the MBP staff in 2005. She earned her BA from Baylor University and a teacher certificate from Wake Tech. Deborah has three daughters that all attended MBP. Deborah loves baking, reading, and traveling with her daughters and husband.
Amy Bodle
Teaching Assistant of Toddlers
Amy had three years of subbing experience working with young children prior to joining MBP in 2014. Amy graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and Communications.
Amy loves cheering on the Tarheels and going to amusement parks with her son and husband. Her other passion is Ridgeback Rescue and fostering dogs in need.

Keli Snyder
Teacher of Early Preschool
Keli joined the MBP teaching staff in 1999. Keli enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, Caleb, Connor, and Ella. She also enjoys reading, gardening, working in the yard, planning home improvement projects, and shopping.
Diana Dew
Teacher Assistant of Early Preschool
Diana joined the MBP staff in 2021 as a substitute. Before joining us, Diana was a nanny. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys playing her guitar and painting.

Kelly Pearce
Teacher of Preschool
Kelly joined the MBP staff in September 2018. She is a graduate of NC State with a Bachelor of Science in Business Mgmt. with a Marketing concentration. Kelly was a substitute here at MBP before she began assistant teaching in 2018. Prior to teaching at MBP, she has over 10 years of experience volunteering in MBC children’s program. She enjoys spending time with her three children: Wyatt, Lucy, and Alice.

Angel Richardson
Teaching Assistant of Preschool
Angel started at MBP in 2023. She is currently working on her bachelor’s in education at North Carolina Central University. Angel enjoys reading and online shopping.

Sabrina Jones
Teacher of Preschool/Pre-K
Sabrina earned her Para Pro certification in Arizona from Higley Unified School District. She joined MBP in 2015. She has 9 years of prior Early Childhood Education with two of those years in the Wake County School system working in a special needs classroom. She loves spending time with her family, hiking, and cooking.

Dottie Harrison
Teacher Assistant of Preschool/Pre-K
Dottie joined the MBP staff in 2023 after her grandchildren attended MBP. She has thirty-five years of Early Childhood experience before joining MBP. Dottie has an Early Childhood K-3 degree from Campbel University. Dottie’s hobbies are cooking, baking and scuba diving. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym.

Terrie Guins
Teacher of Pre-K
Terrie began her work at MBP working often as a volunteer in her child’s classroom. She joined the staff of MBP in 1992 and had worked in the field of early childhood previously for five years. Terrie has an associate degree in Early Childhood from Wake Community College and has had her CDA since 1998. Terrie loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys reading & watching movies.

Kathy Backhaus
Teacher Assistant of Pre-K
Kathy started at MBP in 2002 as a substitute. She had two years of experience working with young children prior to joining MBP in 2002. Kathy enjoys getting outside, spending time with her family and traveling to Disney World.
